    League Night 3/20/07

Wednesday, March 21, 2007, 11:39 AM EST [League]

It was another week with exceptional scores. Check out the recap...

Game 1: 206 - I struggled to break the 200-mark. I left an unfortunate open somewhere between the 5th and 8th frame. But, I got the strikes I needed to carry the score. In the 10th frame, I needed the first strike. I made it, but then left a 10-pin. No matter... one pin didn't actually matter this game, and didn't affect the rest of the night.

Game 2: 222 - This was a good game. My only open was the 8-10 split, which I'm still suprised I left. I bounced right back and finished good.

Game 3: 216 - Believe it or not, but I actually struggled to meet the 200-mark in this game, too. I started strong with strikes, left another open (split), and had trouble accomplishing consecutive strikes. But, I bounced back and struke out the 9th-10th frames.

Overall: 644 - This was a nice, consistant series. I'm not usually this consistant.

However, I still have the problem of leaving one open each game. Sure, once again, two were splits, but one was easy and included the head pin.

All-in-all, I'm happy with my scores and I'm even happier to hopefully be back to my old self.

You still had a nice night. I was a little more inconsistant then you though. I struggled in the beginning of the first game, and had to make a ball and line change. Had a decent finish. 2nd game I was pretty muched locked in. All 9 spares and strikes. Third game I was still pretty much on, but I threw 2-8-10 split to break up my string, and that basically killed the game. We'll see what happens tonight. I'm subbing again. The band I bought for my arm really seemed to help. Again, congtrats on your PBA card. Keep up the good bowling, and don't let that open frame a game thing get into your head. It will pass. Later
