My team clinched second place tonight for the second half and the entire season. First place was also clinched. It looks like the league will end just as I've been suspecting it would for the past few weeks. The only thing left to do now is work on improving my average in the last two weeks (one regular week left and then a useless positioning round.)

My first game started a bit shaky. I was trying to throw the same inside line that I threw last week, but it wasn't happening. I started my first three frames with a strike, 3-6-7-10 split, and a 6-7-10 split respectively. Those were my only two open frames all night. I recovered from that strong and finished with a 222.

My second game started with mostly spares, but then I had six strikes towards the end. I finished with a 217.

My third game was my best. I started again with a couple spares and a couple strikes, but finished the game with seven strikes in-a-row. My score was a 259.

My series tonight was a 698 - still leaving me with 700-block. It's my highest recorded series of the season, which is sort of shameful, but it's good nonetheless. I've had a few 700's in practice, but those don't count and I could care less half the time. There are still two more weeks to finish strong, but I'm focusing more on my average and consistency than anything else.
